Official Documentation for Attendees and/or Presenters

ACC provides several documents that will document your participation in the national meeting and exposition. Please note that the ACC cannot intervene with either the U.S. Embassy abroad or with the U.S. State Department on behalf of any participant.

  • Official Letter of Invitation for Meeting Attendees: Download the Official Letter of invitation to ACC.12. You can submit this letter with your visa application to verify the name, dates, location and purpose of ACC.12. If you require a personalized Letter of Invitation, please contact the ACC Resource Center (resource@acc.org).
  • Registration Confirmation: Once you have registered for the meeting you will receive an email confirmation, which you can also bring to your visa interview. If you do not receive an email confirmation please email accregistration@jspargo.com.
  • Send your questions to: American College of Cardiology, Resource Center, 2400 N Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20037 USA (Tel: 202-375-6000, ext. 5603; Fax: 202-375-7000; resource@acc.org).

Visa Delays or Denials

If your visa application to attend an ACC.12 is delayed or denied, we want to know. If your application is still pending after sixty days and you are at risk to miss the meeting, report your case to the National Academies. Complete the questionnaire and answer the question "Purpose of Visit" by typing "ACC.12" to help the National Academies identify you as an ACC meeting participant.

Registration Refunds Due to a Visa Denial: Visa processing may require long lead times. Please plan accordingly! We highly recommend you apply for the U.S. visa three to four month in advance. The average wait time for visa is now 60 days. If your visa has been denied and you would like to be considered for registration refund, please make sure you have either an official denial document from the U.S. Consulate or a stamped copy of your application form, showing the date when you applied and the date your visa application has been denied.

Preparing for Your ACC.12 Experience

After you complete your visa application, it is time to prepare to travel to ACC.12.

Click here for additional registration information. We strongly recommend that you complete your hotel reservations and register for the meeting through ACC before the deadlines in order to save money and be assured the proper accommodations.

ACC does not provide financial support to meeting participants. Airfare, ground transportation, hotel, meals, travel insurance, and any other local expenses are the responsibility of each meeting participant.
